Hello everyone; November was a long month for me; and December is flying by so fast. I have been busy with my groups and I also accepted a temporary job assignment at my former job; the one I retired from four years ago. While the income is wonderful, I miss my time and home and my stitching and crafting.
Hopefully, later this weekend I will post a photo of the ornaments I made for one of my groups. They are a bit different; some stitching involved, but not a lot.
I will also post some of the photos of many gifts I have received from lots of my stitching friends. All of them are just gorgeous. I am planning my stitching goals for the upcoming year and have lots on my plate once again. I have a Lizzie Kate SAL I will be finishing (yes, Meari!!); I am going to do another SAL with Angie called Lavender Blue; it is just beautiful! In between my SALs I will be doing my Prairie Schoolers, Lizzie Kates and many other charts which I have just fallen in love with over the last year.
I hope that all my stitching friends are staying well; there is a lot of illness going around her in VA; lots of pneumonia and different strains of flu. I sure do hope I can avoid them; I did get the flu shot and the pneumonia shot, because of my history of asthma and bronchitis.
I do want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year! If you do not celebrate Christmas, you enjoy whatever holiday it is that you observe!!!

Good afternoon to all my stitching and blogger friends!
I have been doing some stitching that I would love to share; first, I have a finish of a design that has the saying that I 'authored'.....I asked my dear friend Karen to please put this into a cross stitch design; she did this for me; I stitched the model, and here is the result! It is for sale on Karen's blog for $5.50............please be sure to check out her blog! www.sunshine-stitchesdesigns.blogspot.com
The piece that I have been working on and hoping to finish soon is my Lizzie Kate, ABC Lessons. I have been 'egged on' by my friend Meari, after ruining the first one that I had started a while back; this is the second start for me!
I have just begun my final sampler of the Country Seasons by Prairie Schooler. I am doing Autumn and will have an update later in the week.
The weather here is really beginning to feel like Fall, and I am happy to have cooler temps! Won't be long and the holidays will be upon us!
Until next time,
Sue

Update by end of the Month
Since the hurricane, I am just getting back to normal and that means my stitching. You would have thought that I would do tons! lol.....well, without the electric, the hot weather and no light at night, it was difficult to do much of anything.
I am finishing up two projects this week; then working on a special project created by me and a good friend, so stay tuned!
I really need to start my Prairie Schooler Autumn Sampler so that my four seasons will be complete by the end of the year.
I also have many, many more that I want to start; I think next year I will hold back on the SALs and concentrate on my projects.
I hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend and is ready for some nice Fall weather!
Hugs,
Sue
