A PIF

My one lonely Daffodil!  LOL............anyhow here are the details on my PIF:

I was chosen by Amy as one of her lucky PIF recipeints, so now I will pick 3 people for a PIF gift handmade by me.  If you would like to be one of my 3 PIF friends please leave a comment.  The gift might be anything handmade -  stitched, quilting, sewing, embroidery, etc.  I will look at your blog/likes & try to come up with something just for you. :-)

If you are chosen to be one of my Pay It Forward Friends you will need to PIF too by posting on your blog paying it forward to 3 friends.   Again, it can be anything handmade - stitched, sewn, quilted, embroidered, etc.  Would you like to join in?

What I am Reading

I have not been very good in updating what I have been reading lately.  I love mysteries, and I just finished a book by Lisa Jackson called No Mercy; this was a very good book.

I am currently reading, The Hour I First Believed by Wally Lamb; so far, this is a good novel; I have read one of his other novels called She's Come Undone.

I don't know how many of my followers like to read, but I would be interested in hearing about the types of novels you like and some of your favorite authors.  I read lots of James Patterson, Kristin Hannah, Karen Kingsbury, Teri Blackstock, and Colleen Coble; I love the Christian Fiction also.  My latest has been reading some of the Amish novels.  I read one at Christmas called Gracie by Shelley Shepard Gray.  I liked it so much that I bought her other three novels.  Very easy reading; relaxing too.

Until next time,
Sue

Another Project Finish

I finished my very first needlebook yesterday; this one was just 'concocted' by me...lol..........I did have fun playing with it and not using any special tutorial.  I am pleased with it for being a novice at assembling.

I stitched this for my friend Fran in one of my groups.  I hope she likes it.

Beginning of a new update

Spring is upon us and the weather has finally started to warm up!  The Daffodils are blooming in our front yard and soon the Azaleas will be in full bloom.

We returned from our two week cruise vacation in the Caribbean on March 12th; unfortunately, I came home with Bronchitis.  I am just now starting to feel better, even though the cough is hanging on.............ugh

I have four projects that I will be posting shortly; finished ones!  YAY....finally!  Today, I will post the first, which is a stitched pillow I made for a dear friend in my stitching group.  It is a Lizzie Kate pattern, 'Good Things Come to Those Who Stitch'..........enjoy.  My Prairie Schooler Winter Sampler will follow in the next couple of days, along with my first needlebook ever; I will also have some works in progress to update.
