In addition to stitching and ocasionally 'froggin', I love to read, crochet, knit and make jewelry.

I love mystery and suspense novels; a couple of my favorite authors are James Patterson, Terri Blackstock, Karen Kingbury, Colleen Coble and Kevin O'Brien.

I have crocheted several scares this season; and am in the process of crocheting myself a shrug; one of those sweaters that just has arms and a back........I am also knitting patchwork squares for a nice warm afghan for Butch, my dear hubby.

I have not beaded much since before Christmas, so need to get back to making scissor fobs, bookmarks, bracelets, earrings and necklaces.

Picture Perfect Peanut

This is my beautiful Peanut! She is now two years old.

Cross Stitching is my passion. This piece was stitched in 2008. It is a Moonflower Design, stitched on Picture This Plus hand-dyed fabric and stitched with Threadworx 'Bradley's Balloons'.

Since I first started this blog, my eight-month old Chihuahua, Peanut, has recently celebrated her second birthday. I do have a Multiply site that I post to regularly. I will try to keep this blog updated too.

I plan to have many more finishes in 2009, two of which I am currently working on: Coming to America by Little House Needleworks, and the Nordic Angel by Barbara Baatz, which I am doing as a SAL with my good buddy Chris.

My two work in progress photos are posted here in my blog. Take a peek and enjoy!
