A Finish!

This morning at 5a.m, I finished backstitching my Kokopelli Dancer.  I started this small piece in Baltimore a little over a week ago; between projects I managed to finish; loved working this piece; love the colors and a big thank you to my friend Meari for so kindly RAKing me this leaflet.  I plan to do another to match; just have not decided which one.

Great Gift from a Dear Friend

I received this huge box in the mail yesterday, and this is what was inside!  My dear friend Chris, made me this 'hug bunny' to cheer me up.  She is just gorgeous; Chris does such fantastic sewing as well as cross stitch and other crafts!  Enjoy.

Try this again

I made this picture too big; so my Feedit overlaps the photo and I am not blog savvy to fix it! LOL

Two New Works in Progress as of 9/15/10

While at my BFF's in Baltimore this weekend, I managed to work on my one wip, Schoolgirl Samplings by Blue Ribbon Designs and started another, Kokopelli Dancer in a southwest chart by Joan Elliott, sent to me by Mylene as a RAK.

We Finally Did it!!!!

We finally did it!!!  We have booked a cruise to the Caribbean for 12 days beginning February 28, 2011; we are traveling with friends Ben and Liz.  Our 46th anniversary is in January, and yes, it won't be long before we hit the big 50, however, we are doing it now.......we do not know what awaits us from day to day as far as health, etc..............so we are going to enjoy it while we can.

We will travel on Royal Caribbean Lines on the Enchantment of the Sea, leaving from our hometown of Baltimore MD!!  I have a countdown calendar on my desktop...lol..............
