This is the latest update on my Prairie Schooler Spring Sampler piece. This has been fun to stitch, and I hope to have more to show later this evening.

A couple of years ago, I gave a friend of mine a pint size Mason Jar for her threads/orts......I was visiting her and had planned to do the lid cover while there; well it never happened! LOL....sooo, yesterday, I came across the covers while searching for something else, grabbed it up and just stitched it! I will be sending this to her very soon, along with a couple of other goodies.
This is the first snowstorm that we have had in Newport News, VA in several years; we are surrounded on three sides by water, making us known as 'the Peninsula' of the Hampton Roads area. We ended up with between 8-10 inches of snow and I am loving it! Being a "Baltimoran", as we are known in Baltimore, MD. Of course that is where I was born and raised with lots of snow! I miss it here in the south, so this was a real treat for me. I had to post my couple of photos....lol
This is a scarf that I made for my friend in one of my groups for a Valentine Exchange! I hope she likes it.......instead of putting fringe on the end, I made puff stitches to finish it off! This photo really does not do the colors justice........it is a beautiful varigated red, maroon and berry mix.
