Our oldest daughter has been asking for me to make her a pair of gloves, or 'wristlets' as I call them; I finished one today.  This is a very easy knit pattern.  I would like to learn to make some with different design patterns.

My goodness!  I forgot to add my Halloween SAL that I am doing with my Every Stitch Counts group on FB.  This is a Stoney Creek design; a banner called Fright Night Friends, I believe!  Correct me if I am wrong gals! LOL

The thimbles were designed by my friend Karen Patterson of Sunshine Stitches.  These photos include the months January through June; I will post the other six later.  I have really enjoyed this SAL!!!

Wow!  I has been almost an entire year, since posting on my blog.  Lots of things have happened in my life, both good and bad.  But, for the most part, life is good!

First, I would like to share a wonderful giveaway.

The Snowflower Diaries is offering a generous and wonderful giveaway.  Please be sure to go to her site to enter!

I have done lots of stitching over the last year; lots of Stitch-a-Longs and of course, works in progress for myself.  My main projects right now are Joan Elliott's Birdhouse.  The second is a Halloween SAL I am doing with my online Facebook group, Every Stitch Counts.  This is a closed group, but if you are interested in joining, please email me at noahstitcher5@gmail.com and tell me about your love of cross stitch and a bit about yourself.  We would always welcome new members.

Now, a bit about my wonderful family.  My DH has had numerous health issues this year, however, I am happy to say he is doing well.  Our oldest DD has also managed to get he life in order and is doing good.  Our youngest daughter and her family are thriving; the kids are always busy...LOL....but the do find time for Gram and Pop!  Our oldest Grandson, Trip, who turned 22 in June, and is Autistic, with added disabilities graduated from The Regional Educational Center for Autism on June 7th.  We are VERY proud of all his accomplishments over the years.  His brother Jason, continues to do well, and we look forward to his graduation in the near future.

I have also been doing lots of reading this summer, so have lots of 'good reads' to add to my list; and lots of good movies I have seen.  I continue to dabble in crochet and knitting, as well as some beading.

This is my latest update on my birdhouse; I hope to get more done before the end of this month.  I will post other project updates later.

I hope all my blogging friends are managing to stay cool this summer and are getting loads of stitching done!  Until later...........................

Hugs,
Sue
